Covid 19 updated Terms and Conditions:
Since the government gave us the green light to resume driving lessons in England I want to offer some assurance that I am following the latest guidance from DVSA and NASP (National Associations Strategic Partnership).
I will be sanitising the car thoroughly between lessons paying particular attention to the touch points in the car; steering wheel, gear stick, hand brake, door handles, key, indicators and seat belt.
Myself and pupils will be required to wear face coverings for the duration of the lesson. The only exemption will be if a medical reason exists which means this is not possible. DVSA guidance has stated that the wearing of glasses does not exclude that person from wearing a face covering.
Face coverings are mandatory on tests at this present time.
Should a pupil feel unwell, or if someone in their household is presenting with covid symptoms they must notify me, at the latest, on the morning of the lesson. Late notice cancellation fees will not apply in these circumstances. However, please note, should the lesson be cancelled once I have already attended a lesson appointment and the pupil has failed to notify me they are unwell and the lesson cannot go ahead, the lesson will be charged in full.
If a pupil cancels a lesson due to covid symptoms they will not be able to book another lesson for 14 days to protect everyone using the car.
Where possible, all lessons should be paid for online, to minimise cash handling. To book a first lesson payment is requested at the time of booking to secure the timeslot. Payment for further lessons must be made at least 24hrs before the lesson.
Other terms and conditions remain unchanged. See here
